In their final match of the year, Brazil is favored to beat Tunisia

This Tuesday (18), at 4:30 pm, Brazil faces Tunisia in Lille, France, in a friendly match in preparation for the 2026 World Cup.

According to the main betting platforms, Brazil is the favorite to win the match, with average odds of 1.24 for a victory for the Seleção Canarinho (Brazilian national team), compared to 8.40 for Tunisia.

The match marks another stage in Carlo Ancelotti’s work. The victorious coach seeks to fine-tune the team, give playing time to young players, and regain confidence after the setback against Japan last month.

What to expect from the match between Brazil and Tunisia

This will be another reunion between the two teams, who have faced each other several times in international friendlies. However, the Brazilian team holds a historical advantage in the overall record. Even so, Tunisia usually presents difficulties with its more physical style of play.

Brazil arrives for the match already qualified for the World Cup, but is still trying to find consistency. Their journey in the qualifiers was marked by changes in management until Ancelotti took over.

So far, the Italian coach has managed the national team in six games, with three wins, one draw, and two losses.

On the other side, Tunisia has also secured its place in the Cup and is currently enjoying a good run of form in the African scene. The team had a solid performance in the continental qualifying phase and should rely on its defensive consistency as its main strength.

For the match, Brazil will still be without Alisson, Gabriel Martinelli, and Raphinha, in addition to Gabriel Magalhães, who was also injured and substituted during the 2-0 victory against Senegal.

Even though it’s a friendly match, it’s another chance for Brazil to adjust its structure, test alternatives, and gain rhythm before the World Cup. Tunisia, on the other hand, seeks to use the encounter with a world power to gauge its strength, correct details, and boost morale for the tournament.
