FanDuel assumes exclusive operation of PokerStars in North America

FanDuel consolidated a historic move in the iGaming market by announcing that it will become the exclusive home of PokerStars in North America.

Players have begun to be notified about the strategic integration of the brands, which will have an official launch focused on the regulated markets of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan, in the United States, in addition to the province of Ontario, in Canada.

How the new online poker network will work

The partnership will deliver a cutting-edge experience to users through a fully dedicated application and desktop client.

The great technological and commercial asset of this merger is the creation of a shared liquidity network between the American states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan, unifying the user base of these three regions into a single ecosystem.

Exponential increase in tables and prizes

In practice, liquidity sharing completely transforms the game dynamics for customers in these regulated jurisdictions.

By bringing players together on the same platform, FanDuel and PokerStars guarantee cash game tables with much more traffic, in addition to a significantly wider range of tournaments and much more attractive prize pools.

About FanDuel

FanDuel began operations in 2009 in Edinburgh, Scotland, as a new approach to fantasy sports.

Instead of the slow, grueling, season-long pace, it gave fans a more fast-paced, exciting way to play.

Furthermore, it also brings the possibility of winning big prizes throughout the season.

Today, FanDuel offers a full suite of products, ranging from sports betting and daily fantasy to online casinos and horse racing.

Headquartered in New York, FanDuel has nearly 4,000 employees, with offices in Atlanta, Jersey City, Los Angeles and Edinburgh.
