The Kindred Group started its retail operations at the Swinomish Casino & Lodge. A six-year deal with the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community was announced in October 2022 and the operator has now launched its retail segment in the state.
Unibet-branded kiosks and over-the-counter sports betting are part of the bookmaker’s initial launch phase. An immersive sports betting lounge will be included as a future enhancement and will debut later this year.
With a retail presence currently in three states – Pennsylvania, Arizona and Washington, Unibet at Swinomish Casino & Lodge is Kindred’s 13th retail launch in North America.

In addition, Kindred will continue to make investments to expand its operations in North America, where market conditions allow for a sustainable business model. Unibet recently received approval from the New Jersey Division of Gambling Enforcement (NJDGE) and is expected to go live in May.
When it launches, Kindred has confirmed that the platform will comply with local laws and regulations for safer gambling in New Jersey.
