Playtech announced the launch of its multi-channel technology in the Dutch market with Holland Casino, as part of the strategic cooperation that was announced earlier this year.

This agreement will see Playtech become Holland Casino’s strategic technology provider, providing its full multi-channel technology as well as certain ancillary services. The launch of Playtech’s IMS platform, which features sports betting, casino, live casino and poker software services, represents the first of its kind in the Netherlands.

The deal included the construction of a new live casino studio, separately from but in close proximity to the existing Dutch Casino site in Scheveningen.

The live casino studio was built in collaboration with various teams and strategic relationships between the two companies, and resulted in a studio that offers Dutch players direct access to Playtech’s live tables via the casino website.

An essential partnership for Playtech’s growth

Playtech CEO Mor Weizer commented, “We are pleased to announce the launch of this strategic cooperation. Central to our company’s success is our ability to partner with leading entertainment companies in the most attractive and exciting markets.”

Erwin van Lambaart, CEO of Holland Casino, added: “Our cooperation with Playtech means that we can offer the new online marketplace in the Netherlands with an immersive and enjoyable online experience with the highest level of player protection.”

“Along with Playtech’s unrivaled multi-channel technology, their strong track record in providing industry-leading software to newly regulated markets makes them a trusted and experienced supplier. We are at the start of an exciting opportunity and look forward to a long and successful relationship with Playtech,” concluded Lambaart.
