The Ministry of Treasury’s Prizes and Betting Secretariat (SPA-MF) signed a cooperation agreement with the Brazilian Federation of Banks (Febraban) on Monday (2). The partnership aims to carry out joint actions aimed at promoting education and financial guidance for consumers/bettors.
Among the planned initiatives, the provision of the Brazilian Financial Health Index (I-SFB), developed by Febraban in conjunction with the Central Bank, stands out.
According to SPA, the tool works as a self-test of financial health, helping consumers to reflect on their financial situation and make more informed decisions. In addition, Febraban offers free courses on financial education on its website.
SPA’s partnership with Febraban represents a fundamental step in strengthening regulatory action. One of the highlights of the agreement is to provide bettors with access to instruments that help promote autonomy and financial security.
You can find out more about responsible gaming on the website of the Prizes and Betting Secretariat. The space brings together information and guidance aimed at bettors, with the aim of alerting them to the need for safer, more conscious and responsible practices in the betting market.
