PNR Tecnologia Operação de Jogo e Loterias Ltda submitted the necessary documentation to obtain accreditation with LOTERJ, last Wednesday (3).

During the event, director Yuri William expressed his approval of LOTERJ‘s initiative to accredit bookmakers, highlighting its importance.

“LOTERJ has a lot to add to the new Brazilian regulated market, being the first lottery to do this. We, as a company, when we identified this opportunity, sought to enter this market.

We believe that, with the support of LOTERJ, we will be able to grow in light of Brazil’s potential for the world in the fixed-odd betting market. We want to be part of this expanding market.”

Regarding regulation, the director emphasized its benefits for both companies and the population:

“Regulation provides transparency to the process, ensuring security for those who wish to bet responsibly, in addition to contributing to society, since the payment of taxes and duties will have a significant social impact.”

This movement reflects not only the commitment of PNR Tecnologia Operação de Jogo e Loterias Ltda to actively participate in the regulated market, but also its confidence in the potential of the betting sector in Brazil, driven by the regulation and transparency offered by LOTERJ.

About LOTERJ

The Rio de Janeiro State Lottery is responsible for managing the game throughout the state. After the ban on casinos, state lotteries became the official alternative, established by Decree-Law No. 6,259, by President Getúlio Vargas.

LOTERJ has been operating since the 1960s, initially in Niterói, and later in the city of Rio de Janeiro, unifying with LOTEG in 1975. For decades, LOTERJ offered the “Ticket Lottery” and innovated with the “Loteria Instantaneous” in 1991, popularly known as Raspadinha.

The “Rio de Prêmios” game was launched in 2007 and broadcast live on Record TV Rio. In 2018, “Super Pontos” was added to the game, introducing a new prize dynamic.

LOTERJ has a mission focused on social development, allocating 70% of its net profit to social projects in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Therefore, it adopts responsible gaming practices, such as prohibition for children under 18 and recommendations for conscious gaming.

Since its founding in 1944, LOTERJ has positively impacted the lives of thousands of people.
