Lottopar signed this Monday (4th) an accreditation term authorizing the Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) laboratory to work with operators of lotteries and fixed-quota bets (sports betting) to carry out tests and certification for the gaming industry. games and lotteries in Paraná.
With this accreditation, this laboratory and the others that become accredited will be responsible for carrying out rigorous tests on electronic games, lottery systems, gaming machines, online platforms and other related components.
The main function of these testing and certification laboratories is to verify that the products and systems comply with standards, regulations and requirements established by regulatory authorities and entities responsible for the gaming and lottery industry.
The certifications issued by these laboratories guarantee that the games are fair, safe, free of fraud and that they meet the required international quality standards.
The CEO of Loterias do Paraná, Daniel Romanowski, stated: “This accreditation for the lottery gaming industry demonstrates the commitment of Lottopar and the Government of Paraná to provide a safe and responsible environment for lottery operations, guaranteeing global security standards” .
“Now the lottery companies that will operate in the State can issue certificates and carry out tests in Paraná without the need to resort to laboratories in other states or even outside the country”, added Romanowski.
The opening of the notice by Lottopar aims to seek excellence in the services provided by lottery operators.
“Performing the tests and issuing certificates by accredited laboratories will bring even more credibility to the lottery gaming sector and more security for the gambler”.
“The laboratories have a fundamental role in scientifically proving the quality and reliability of the software and equipment offered to the public”.
“This is one more step towards guaranteeing the quality that people from Paraná expect from lottery operations in the State”, concluded Romanowski.

This is another step towards the security of the structure of the games even before they are fully operational.
The first step was hiring the company responsible for providing and operating the lottery service management platform.
At this moment, the process of accreditation of the first companies that will be able to operate fixed-quota bets, in the State is underway.
The process of technical evaluation and approval of companies is being conducted by Lottopar.
The concession for operating fixed quota bets will guarantee the State an initial fixed grant of BRL 5 million per operator.
