Nobody guessed the six tens of the Mega-Sena contest 2,617, drawn on the night of this Wednesday, 2nd, in São Paulo.

In this way, the prize for the winners of the next draw, scheduled for Saturday night, the 5th, is estimated at R$ 60 million.

The numbers drawn were: 03, 14, 36, 42, 43 and 44.

The 83 bets that hit five tens will receive BRL 56,735.82 each.

While the 6,354 bets that hit the court receive a prize of R$ 1,058.74.

Chances of winning the Mega-Sena

The chances of winning the prize vary in each Mega-Sena contest. It all depends on the number of tens selected and the type of bet placed.

In the simple bet, in which the player chooses only six tens at a cost of R$5, the probability of hitting the main prize is 1 in 50,063,860, according to information provided by Caixa Econômica Federal.

On the other hand, when opting for a bet with a maximum of 15 tens, whose value is BRL 22,522.50, the probability of hitting the prize is 1 in 10,003.

For those who prefer to bet in a group and in greater volume, Caixa’s official syndicate is also an option that increases the chances of winning.

On the betting wheel, there is a specific field for this type of betting, with a minimum price of R$ 15.00 in the Mega-Sena and each minimum share of R$ 6.00.

The pool can have from two to 100 odds, with a maximum of 10 bets per pool, with the same number of numbers.

Mega-Sena draws take place twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

If there are no winners in any bracket, the value accumulates for the next contest, in the respective award bracket.

Therefore, prizes expire 90 days after the draw date.

After this period, the amounts are transferred to the national treasury for investment in the FIES – Higher Education Student Financing Fund.​​​​
