Lottery players will have more time to place their bets on Caixa’s lotteries. The time for placing bets on any of the lottery games will be extended until 8 pm at lottery outlets.
The same schedule applies to the Loterias Online portal and the app. However, digital group bets can be purchased until 8:30 PM, exclusively through the Loterias Online portal and the app. Before the change, bets closed at 7 PM.
According to Renato Silva Siqueira, CEO of Caixa Loterias, this is a strategy to offer customers more time to place their bets.
“The decision is a strategy by Caixa Loterias to offer more convenience to customers, providing more time for them to place their bets, while maintaining its commitment to transparency, social responsibility, and safe entertainment,” he said.
What else has changed in Caixa Lotteries?
Last Monday (3), the times for the Caixa Lotteries draws also underwent changes.
Thus, the Mega-Sena lottery draw has been moved to 9 PM, previously it was at 8 PM. However, the days of the week remain the same: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Where does the money from lottery revenue go?
Of the revenue collected by Caixa Lotteries, almost half is allocated to social programs, as determined by current legislation. Live broadcast of the draws
The drawings continue to be broadcast from Espaço da Sorte, located at Avenida Paulista, nº 750, in São Paulo (SP). In addition, there is a live stream on CAIXA’s YouTube channel and on CAIXA Loterias’ Facebook page.
Since November 3rd, the draws have a new time: 9 PM, except for the Federal Lottery, which always takes place at 8 PM.
