Since last Monday (19), the sports betting platform Aposta.la has been renamed Bet Play. The change was made official by Lottopar, which authorized the change of the domain from www.pr.aposta.la to www.pr.betplay.bet after publication in the Official Gazette.
The transformation occurs after the acquisition of part of the Paraguayan company DARUMA SAM S.A. by the Colombian betting company. DARUMA SAM S.A. is the owner of Gaev Concessionária de Loterias do Paraná SPE Ltda., licensed by Lottopar to operate sports betting in the state.
Lottopar has a meeting with Bet Play representatives
With the change of domain, it was necessary to carry out a new integration between Lottopar’s management platform and payment methods and Bet Play’s systems. This process aims to ensure safe and fraud-free operations, as required by the Fixed Odds Betting Accreditation Notice.
More than eighty compliance items were checked, including:
- Ensure that the entire website is in Portuguese.
- Display Lottopar authorization seals.
- Provide customer support channels.
- Clearly inform that only people over 18 can bet.
- Include guidance on responsible gaming.
GLI 33 certification and security
Therefore, all betting sites regulated by Lottopar must have the GLI 33 certification, equivalent to ISO. Therefore, this certification establishes technical standards for betting systems and includes security requirements such as:
- Protection of sensitive data
- System integrity
- Fraud detection
- Risk management
Therefore, Aposta.la informed users with a balance that it has deleted their old accounts and is refunding the remaining balance via Pix. So, for any questions regarding refunds, bettors can contact:
- By email: [email protected]
- By cell phone: (45) 99128-1294.
Therefore, this change marks a new phase in sports betting in Paraná, with Bet Play taking over the operation in place of Aposta.la, promising to maintain high standards of security and compliance under Lottopar regulations.
