Approval of games and casinos will be discussed at today's event
The Secretary of Tourism and Travel of SP, Vinícius Lummertz, will be present

The first panel of debates that will discuss – after approval in the Chamber of Deputies – the bill that regulates the games and casinos in Brazil, including bingo and animal game (PL 442/91), takes place this Tuesday (15) in São José dos Campos.

The event will have the participation of speakers such as Bruno Omori (director of IDT-CEMA), Regina Bauman (Director of Grupo Meon Comunicação), Flavio Augusto Pichi (FYMSA lawyers), Rodrigo Tavano (Vice-president of ABIH-SP – Associação Brasileira of Hotels in the State of São Paulo), Nelson Roamanini (Betsul), Carlos Bernardo (Director of ACCOR), Luciane Leite, Mauzler Paulinete (Executive Secretary of ASEMESP), Ronald Lopes, the mayor of São José dos Campos, Felício Romuth and Gene Chayevsky (CEO of KLW Capital), among others (see the complete list in the box).

With leaders from the Hospitality, Government and Tourism sectors, such as Vinicius Lummertz (Secretary of Tourism and Travel of the State of São Paulo), the meeting will be held at the Hotel Golden Tulip, Colinas Shopping, in the city of São José dos Campos, from 8 am to 15 hours today.

In terms of Games and Casinos, there will be two panels: one talking about the legislation, the potential of games within the tourism, hospitality and theme parks market, the vision and expectations of the leadership.

The second panel will deal with sports betting, with the Synergy between Sports Events and Sports Betting program, with the presence of Olympic and Paralympic athletes, also with the presence of the Executive Secretary of the Association of Municipal Sports Secretaries (ASEMESP), with the president of Betsul and ACCOR hotel representatives to discuss how sports betting can be integrated into the tourist market.

And finally, the third and fourth panels, a little more governmental (São Paulo for All and Best Legislative Practices) talking about the strategic actions of the Government of São Paulo, with the participation of the Secretary of Tourism of the State, Vinicius Lummertz, some specific debates on the possibility of working more on the Tourism dimension, “which will not be so specifically linked to Games and Casinos, but in a general scope”, as explained by the distinguished speaker, Bruno Omori.

The president of the Institute for the Development of Tourism, Culture, Sport and the Environment, will mediate the dialogue tables and emphasizes that it will be the first panel that will address this issue after the vote on the approval of the games by the Chamber of Deputies.
