SOFTSWISS, a global software provider for the iGaming industry, successfully concluded its participation in BiS SiGMA South America 2026, in São Paulo.
The company shaped discussions on the development of the regulated market through expert panels and industry dialogue, supported by a series of initiatives during the event.
How the track experience connects to the betting market in Brazil
The technology provider’s in-person activation featured Rubens Barrichello, Non-Executive Director in Latin America at SOFTSWISS, who arrived at the exhibition hall in a Porsche racing car.
The vehicle was later converted into a racing simulator for visitors to the company’s stand.
Barrichello also participated in the summit’s opening ceremony.
In his speech, he addressed Brazil’s position as a rapidly maturing betting market, where the next phase of growth depends on advanced technology, clear regulation and social responsibility.
He further emphasized that this process requires collaboration between the government and technology companies.
“I appreciate how the BiS SiGMA South America summit brings together two worlds I know well – racing and technology.
The people I meet here understand that building a sustainable market in Brazil requires discipline, technological knowledge and, of course, teamwork.
It reminds me a lot of the racing environment, where teamwork and precision make all the difference,” he said..
Strategic debates about the future of the sector in Latin America
On the main stage of the exhibition, SOFTSWISS hosted an exclusive group of experts: SOFTSWISS Trail: Sports Betting Strategy, Integrity and Speed.
As the 2026 World Cup approaches, regulators, legal experts and industry professionals discussed the future of betting across Latin America.
The program began with a chat between Plínio Lemos Jorge, President of the National Association of Games and Lotteries (ANJL) of Brazil, and Carla Dualib, Regional Business Development Manager at SOFTSWISS and Communications Director at ANJL.
They explored the rapid growth of the Brazilian market and the responsibility that comes with operating on a large scale.
Carla Dualib commented: “A year ago, many of these conversations were still theoretical. The Brazilian market is past the point where general ideas are enough.
What made these sessions valuable was the willingness to be specific – regulators, operators and technology providers sharing what actually works in practice. Honest conversations like this really move the industry forward.”

Exclusive collection and immersive closing in São Paulo
Beyond the conference stage, SOFTSWISS presented the second edition of its limited capsule collection, created with Rubens Barrichello and iconic running brand Sparco.
Inspired by the Driven by Ambition concept, the capsule was designed by Brazilian sportswear designer Denis Romanello.
It reflects a shared focus on performance and reliability in motorsport and technology.
The event concluded with the SOFTSWISS Racing Carnival, an exclusive karting event at the Granja Viana Kartódromo.
The technology provider’s partners joined Rubens Barrichello for demonstration races and competitive kart heats.
This racing experience was accompanied by live samba performances, interactive activities and networking in an informal environment.
