The SBC Summit Lisboa took place last week and was attended by a large number of Brazilian companies and professionals. Legitimuz was present with a booth that highlighted Brazilian elements and showcased innovative products aimed at the regulated betting market.
In an interview, Fred Justo detailed how the company’s anti-money laundering solution works. “It’s an innovative product, 100% focused on the betting market and based on the 19 vulnerabilities identified in the anti-money laundering ordinance issued by the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA). So it’s a compliant product.”
According to him, the technology tracks all transactions made by bettors within the platform. “These technological elements ultimately facilitate monitoring and provide the operator with a precise and accurate analysis of whether or not there is a suspicion of money laundering. Furthermore, they help with reporting to COAF and the best practices report that operators will need to submit to SPA next year,” he added.
Justo also cited Legitimuz‘s KYC product, considered a “success story.” “It provides operators with quality and security. It’s no wonder Legitimuz holds almost 60% of the KYC market. The product offers a wealth of technology and makes life easier for operators’ AML teams. If they can access Legitimuz’s products, they’ll certainly feel much safer,” he concluded.
