The Centurion Association, in partnership with the SiGMA Foundation, will open the Faculdade da Luta next Saturday (31). This is an innovative social project that combines sport, education and citizenship in the community of Heliópolis, on the outskirts of São Paulo.
The Faculdade da Luta will offer, completely free of charge, martial arts classes (MMA, Boxing, Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Wrestling), as well as English classes, sports marketing, financial education, self-defense for women and health support with nutritionists and physiotherapists.
Roberto Gallo, president of the Centurion Sports Association, commented on the importance of the project: “This project is an important support for the promotion of public policies aimed at youth, sports and social development”, he said.
According to the institutions, the objective of the Faculdade da Luta project is to transform lives through sport and citizenship training, promoting social inclusion, opportunities and dignity.

The Centurion Association is a social impact project born from the collaboration between Centurion FC and the SiGMA Foundation. This partnership is committed to transforming lives through education, martial arts and personal development.
Based in Heliópolis, São Paulo — one of the largest urban communities in Brazil — it operates a 1,000 m² training center. There, it offers completely free programs to empower young people and families.
The project’s mission is to generate real change by offering access to tools and knowledge that open doors to new opportunities.
Additionally, it provides courses in English, basic sports marketing (with a focus on monetizing an athlete’s career), financial education, and women’s self-defense — all designed to build confidence, independence, and a brighter future.
