AC Milan has partnered with leading eSports company QLASH. This is the first time that the Italian football club has entered the electronic games industry. The deal will lead the Italian Premier League club to compete under the name ‘AC MILAN QLASH’.

QLASH, recently honored with the award for Best Italian Team in games, will join forces with the football giant while participating in football simulator competitions and other eSports competitions.

The next major events include the FIFA Global Series and the FIFA Club World Cup, as well as one of the top mobile game titles, Brawl Stars. “We are happy to announce this new partnership with QLASH”, commented Casper Stylsvig, Milan’s financial director.

Stylsvig further stated: “We are sure that it will be an exciting and incredible experience, both for us and for our fans around the world. And, we are pleased to embark on this new adventure in the world of eSports in partnership with a leading company like QLASH ”.

Luca Pagano, co-founder and CEO of QLASH also expressed his satisfaction with the partnership. “For traditional companies that have the courage to adjust and embrace innovation, electronic sports can represent a great opportunity for growth.”

Pagano added: “We are excited and proud that Milan has decided to choose QLASH as its arm in eSports, not only for operation, but also at the brand level”.

Luckbox CEO Quentin Martin recently spoke to the Italian press about the potential of eSports betting. He argued that sports betting on electronic games has great growth potential, to the point of even surpassing traditional bets in the long run.
