Details of the future Bally’s Chicago Casino
A casino, dining hall, restaurants, theater, event space, museum and exhibition area, VIP lounges, as well as a 500-room hotel are all part of the new integrated casino resort development.
The more than 10 acres of outdoor space include a park for the neighborhood, which will allow for different programs such as cultural, artistic and local agriculture fairs.
Joyen Vakil, Senior Vice President of Design and Development at Bally, said: “Inspired by the interplay of the city – grit and grandeur, structure and organic, historically charged and cutting-edge – Bally’s Chicago design creates a sense of wonder and accessible adventure. for all”.
“The plan is focused on bringing nature and well-being through the addition of numerous public squares and parks,” added Vakil.
Several companies present in Chicago are part of the development team. The project was designed by SCB (Hotel, Rooftop Restaurant, Spa and F&B Venues) in association with V3 Companies, Gensler and Site Design Group.
Gensler is designing the casino, museum/exhibition space, theater/event center, F&B spaces, riverwalk, park and public area. The building combines green spaces, arts and entertainment venues, and high-end hospitality spaces.
Vakil concluded, “We are confident this team will bring this unique urban space to life. The exciting design celebrates Chicago’s motto, ‘urbs in horto’ – a city in a garden – and creates a dynamic public realm on site.”
