According to The Casino Association of New Jersey (CANJ), Atlantic City casinos are primed for the exciting month of National College Basketball Championship games ahead.
Throughout the month of March, Atlantic City casinos will host special offers and events aimed at enhancing the experience for their visiting basketball fans.
Joe Lupo, president of CANJ, said, “Atlantic City casinos are ready to welcome college basketball fans to enjoy one of the biggest sporting events of the year.”
“Fans will enjoy a world-class gaming experience as they visit our world-class destination while watching the games unfold.”
“We are pleased to provide a wide range of industry-leading sports betting, food and beverage specials and exclusive entertainment offers throughout the month,” concluded Lupo.
At Resorts Casino Hotel, “March Mania” will take place upon arrival at the Slam Dunk Bar, a pop-up themed bar with a college basketball atmosphere. There will be a range of specialty cocktails available throughout the month and numerous TVs for watching the games.
At Bally’s, there will be a central 7.6 meter wide LED video wall, surrounded by two 3 meter wide LED video walls so fans don’t miss any part of the game. Fans will also be able to bet in five betting windows or use one of IGT PlaySports’ 20 self-service kiosks.
Likewise, some locations are counting on food deals throughout the month. For example, at Chickie’s and Pete’s Crab House and Sports Bar, there is an “all-you-can-eat” offering on their menu during certain tournament rounds.
Brazil may have casinos in the near future
The proposal to legalize betting approved in the Chamber of Deputies determines the conditions for at least 292 bookies, 33 casinos and 1,420 bingos to be allowed to operate in the national territory. The determination of the number of licenses to be offered counts as the main factor the population of the state or city where the gaming houses will be located.
However, the number of casinos may grow more depending on the permission of ships with the structure for gambling and installation in hotels. The proposal will still be evaluated by the Senate and to become law depends on the presidential sanction of Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
