Two years later, Santos is once again facing the specter of relegation to Série B. According to Betfair odds, the Vila Belmiro club is among the teams most at risk of relegation in the 2025 Brazilian Championship. According to the sportsbook´s assessment, Santos is behind only four teams: Sport, Juventude, Vitória, and Fortaleza.
According to Betfair’s odds, Sport has a probability of relegation exceeding 99.5%, so much so that this betting option is no longer offered by the bookmaker. Juventude, on the other hand, has a 97% chance of relegation. Vitória, with 87%, and Fortaleza, with 75%, round out the list.
With a 34% chance of relegation, Santos is the biggest club in the elite with a real risk of relegation. In this way, it reflects a season marked by instability and difficulties in maintaining regularity at home and away.
Their recent performance, with only one win in their last five games, has revived fears of another decline, something that until recently seemed unimaginable.
Next, among the clubs still at risk, Atlético-MG has a 9% chance of being relegated. Next comes Vasco da Gama, with a 7.7% chance, appearing at moderate risk. Grêmio, with 5%, and Ceará, with 4%, are also looking to secure important points to move away from the danger zone.

At the top of the table, Betfair’s odds confirm a direct duel between Palmeiras and Flamengo for the 2025 Brasileirão title. Flamengo, after their victory over Juventude over the weekend, has a slight advantage (59% chance).
Meanwhile, Rio’s Rubro-Negro team still relies on the strength of its star-studded squad to attempt a comeback (45% probability). The two teams face off next weekend, further fueling the heat.
Cruzeiro still appears as the main outsider in the competition, with a consistent season and good defensive numbers, and today appears with a 5% chance of winning the national title.
