The big day is coming! BiS Brasília, the unprecedented edition of the conference organized by BiS SiGMA in partnership with ABRAJOGO (Brazilian Gaming Association), ANJL (National Gaming and Lotteries Association), and ANALOME (National Association of State and Municipal Lotteries), will take place next week, on October 21st and 22nd, at the Royal Tulip Brasília Alvorada.
Aiming to bring the debate on gaming and betting to the federal capital at a strategic moment, the meeting will bring together federal government ministers, ministry secretaries, senators, federal and state representatives, presidents of professional associations, legal experts, as well as renowned experts and industry executives.
The choice of the Federal District was no accident. Brasília is the center of decisions that shape the future of iGaming in the country. It is there that public policies are developed, laws are discussed, and regulations are approved.
In this way, BiS Brasília aims to facilitate dialogue between the market and authorities, presenting concrete demands, actively involving regulatory bodies, and ensuring that all links in the sector’s chain are heard.
Political figures already confirmed at BiS Brasília
Senator Irajá (rapporteur of the Casino Bill) and Geninho Zuliano (Mayor of Olímpia, São Paulo, a city that is launching its own lottery) will be on the first panel of the event “The Potential of Betting on Brazilian Tourism with the Legalization of Casinos.” The discussion will explore how legalizing casinos can boost tourism, create jobs, and increase revenue in the entertainment and hospitality sector.
Next, André Fufuca (Minister of Sports) will be at the seminar: “From Bets’ Contribution to the Financing of the National Sports System”, which will address the mechanisms that connect the growth of betting platforms to the financial sustainability of national sports.
Also on the first day, federal Representatives Julio Arcoverde and Newton Cardoso Jr. will be among the guests at the debate “Legal Framework for Municipal Lotteries”, which will address the decentralization of lotteries and their impacts on regional development and public revenue.
Closing the program for October 21st, Giovanni Rocco (National Secretary of Sports Betting and Economic Development of Sports) will be one of the panelists on the topic “The Arena of Numbers: the Betting Market from the Perspective of Businesspeople and the Government in Brazil”.
It is worth mentioning the presence of Simone Vicentini (Former Deputy Secretary of Prizes and Sports Betting at the Ministry of Treasury) at the penultimate BiS Brasília commitment, “Compliance and Innovation: Safe Betting Advertising and the Role of Big Techs”.
