Loteca could pay the biggest prize in history this Monday

This Monday (08), Loteca can pay R$ 12.5 million and this will be the biggest prize in the history of the modality. Loteca is the lottery for those who are passionate about football predictions. This is a type of lottery where the bettor chooses the outcome of the game, which team will win or whether it will be a draw.

Bets are counted this Monday, but the scores are based on matches that took place over the weekend (6th and 7th). Weekly Loteca bets can be placed starting Wednesday and running until 3 p.m. on the Saturday of the round.

This is available at lottery outlets nationwide, on the Loterias Caixa Econômica website, and on the Loterias Caixa app. Additionally, a bet costs R$4 and entitles you to a double. The more doubles and triples you score, the higher the bet price and the greater your chances of winning.

How to play Loteca

To participate in Loteca, simply mark your predictions for each of the 14 games in the contest. To do so, you must select one of the three columns: two (double) or three (triple).

Participating clubs are available on tickets issued by the lottery terminal, on the lottery website and on online platforms.

Loteca draws take place weekly, and the winners are announced at the beginning of each week. If a game is canceled due to being moved forward, postponed, or canceled, the outcome of the game (for purposes of the Loteca contest) is determined by drawing lots.

For the purposes of determining the competition, the public and notorious results that the match referees recognize during the regular time of the game are considered valid, and any extensions that occur will not be considered, except those intended to compensate for possible interruptions in the regular time of the competition.

Caixa uses the results of football matches from international/national/state/regional championships of any category to compose the grids for Loteca competitions.

The institution emphasizes that the organization of the championships is exclusive to the Football Federations, and Caixa has no interference in relation to the postponements and cancellations of games.
