Sereia Beach, in Itapuã, Salvador, hosted a major environmental campaign by 7K, the main sponsor of Vitória, one of Bahia’s top clubs. The beach cleanup is one of the brand’s environmentally responsible activities.
The mobilization resulted in the removal of approximately 500 kg of solid waste along 3 km of coastline, in an operation that lasted approximately eight hours.
Organized jointly with the support of company staff and cleaning agents, the operation had a strong educational appeal for the public. Furthermore, it saw the participation of hundreds of people throughout the day.
Some of the collected material was sent to independent waste pickers in the region. The rest was properly packaged and sent to the collection point of Limpurb, the municipal company responsible for urban sanitation.
7K and Vitória action leaves a social legacy in Salvador
