Neymar’s permanence at PSG, in France, is not yet assured. Currently, the Brazilian star has an estimated salary of 220 million reais per year at the Parisian club. Furthermore, he makes millions from his sponsors like PokerStars and Blaze.
Owner of one of the highest salaries in world football, Neymar pockets around 140 million a year from Puma. Last year, the soccer player signed an agreement with Budweiser, a beer brand, but the sponsorship values were not announced.
Neymar is also an ambassador for the poker site, PokerStars, and the sportsbook Blaze. All these agreements add even more to the fortune of the number 10 of the Brazilian national team in the last World Cup, which according to the Metrópoles website is approximately 4.4 billion reais.
Neymar and Blaze signed a 4-year deal
Confirmed at the end of last year, the partnership between Neymar and Blaze lasts for four years. The Brazilian player acts as the group’s global ambassador and promotes the platform across the planet, with the exception of Brazil.
“Neymar is one of the best football players in the world and has millions of followers and Blaze is the largest online casino platform in Latin America. Our collaboration will bring a completely new gaming experience to our users,” said Blaze COO Nick van Gorsel at the time.
Neymar is a cultural sponsor of PokerStars
Since the first half of 2021, Neymar has been a cultural ambassador for PokerStars, expanding his partnership with the online poker brand owned by Flutter Entertainment. In this role, he has collaborated with the operator on a number of creative projects related to different aspects of culture, art and music.
Special actions and partnership-related content are being featured on a special page on PokerStars, with promotional materials also appearing on the operator’s official website.
Future of the soccer star
Despite his off-field success, Neymar is at an impasse in his professional life. New rumors about his departure from PSG have increased due to protests from the club’s fans and the non-renewal of the contract of Lionel Messi, one of the great friends of the Brazilian player. English football has been pointed out as the athlete’s destination.
