The popularity of online gambling grew exponentially during the Covid-19 pandemic, due to the impossibility of accessing physical betting spaces. Other factors also contributed significantly to this global increase in the gaming market, such as technological development and the popularization of internet access.

It is worth noting that recently H2 Gambling Capital – responsible for the report – and the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), recognized industry authorities worldwide on betting integrity and betting market data, signed a renewal of their successful partnership agreement that sees the two organizations work to raise the standards of betting market regulation and integrity protection.
