Rainbow Six Siege X: FURIA wins world title on R6 Reload

Brazilian team FURIA won the R6 Reload championship of Rainbow Six Siege, an eSports modality, defeating the Japanese team CAG Osaka 3-0. The final took place at Arena Carioca 1, in Rio de Janeiro. With this victory, FURIA won a prize of US$ 170 thousand (around R$ 1 million).

Formerly known as ex-w7m, FURIA obtained its first title since the change of teams, having already won the Six Invitational 2024. The final, held on Sunday, was dominated by the Brazilians, with scores of 7-4, 7-3 and 7-3 on the maps Covil, Banco and Café Dostoiévski.

On their way to the finals, FURIA defeated LOUD and FaZe Clan. CAG Osaka, making their debut in the world finals, defeated FearX and Wildcard Gaming to secure their spot. Second place earned CAG Osaka $80,000.

Teams w7m and Wildcard, who placed third and fourth respectively, each received $35,000. Additionally, smaller prizes were awarded to teams placed 5th through 20th.


The event began on May 10, bringing together 20 of the best R6 teams in the world. The final stage took place at Arena Carioca 1. Among the teams, five were Brazilian: FaZe Clan, w7m, LOUD, FURIA and Team Liquid, in addition to the Asian Elevate, made up of Brazilians.

Arena Carioca 1: home of R6 Reload Rio 2025

Arena Carioca 1 was the stage and received one of the largest eSports audiences during Rainbow Six Reload Rio 2025, which took place between May 16 and 18. Built for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, this arena can accommodate up to 6,000 spectators.

Rainbow Six Reload is a highly relevant international event, broadcast live around the world. An audience of 1 million was expected in the qualifying phase and 3 million in the final phase. 100 players participated in the initial phase, and eight teams went on to the final phase, which attracted around 7,000 viewers per day.

Brazil stands out as the tenth largest game consumption market worldwide and occupies the fifth position in mobile games.
