Nevada bookmakers reported total revenue of $1.31 billion for the month of July 2022. As reported by the Nevada Gaming Control Board, the total represents a 3% decline from July 2021. , when operators reported the value of US$ 1.35 billion.

Clark County accounted for the majority of revenue, generating $1.12 billion, down 3% from the year-ago period when revenue was $1.16 billion. Las Vegas Strip revenue was down 3% year-on-year to $773.3 million, with Downtown and North Las Vegas revenue reaching $60 million and $24.5 million respectively, recording annual declines of 16% and 4% respectively.

The Laughlin and Boulder Strip regions reported total revenues of $42.8 million and $72.7 million, respectively. The first was the same when compared to the previous year period, with the second increasing by 4%. Mesquite was also the same when compared to the prior year period, at $14.1 million.

Washoe County revenue totaled $94.7 million, down 5% from the year-ago period, while South Lake Tahoe reported revenue of $31.8 million, a 1% decline from a year ago. Carson Valley Area revenue also declined 3% year-on-year to $11.7 million.

Elko County was the only area to report a positive change from the previous year, with revenue up 5% from July 2021 to $35.9 million.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board also reported that the state collected $90.3 million in percentage fees during the month of August 2022, based on taxable income generated in July 2022. The total represents a 7% decline. compared to August 2021, when the collection of percentage fees on betting was $97.7 million.
