Caixa Econômica Federal will hold the Lotofácil da Independência 2025 draw this Saturday (6/9), with an estimated prize of R$220 million for whoever matches the 15 numbers. The special draw starts at 8 pm and represents the highest amount ever offered in the history of this federal lottery modality.
Bettors have until 6 p.m. on Saturday to register their bets at lottery outlets, on the Loterias Caixa portal or through the official app.
The last regular Lotofácil drawing took place on August 26th, with the numbers 01-05-06-08-09-10-12-13-15-16-18-19-23-24-25. In total, 86 bets from across Brazil reached the maximum score and received R$2.3 million each. The lottery offered a total prize of R$202,506,461.80.
How to participate in the Independence Lotofácil 2025
Players must choose between 15 and 20 numbers from the 25 available on the ticket. Additionally, Lotofácil offers the “Surpresinha” option, which automatically selects numbers, and the “Teimosinha” option, which allows players to compete in up to 24 consecutive draws with the same combination.
The cost of bets varies depending on the number of tens:
- 15 numbers: R$ 3.50;
- 16 numbers: R$ 56;
- 17 numbers: R$ 476;
- 18 numbers: R$2.8 thousand;
- 19 numbers: R$ 13.5 thousand;
- 20 números: R$ 54,2 mil.
Players can also participate through syndicates. To do so, simply fill in the appropriate field on the form or purchase shares in syndicates organized by lottery outlets. The minimum amount for syndicates is R$14, with individual shares starting at R$4.50.
Chances of winning the contest
A simple bet, with 15 numbers, offers a 1 in 3,268,760 chance of matching all the numbers. As the number of numbers played increases, the odds improve:
- 16 numbers: 1 in 204,298;
- 17 numbers: 1 in 24,035;
- 18 numbers: 1 in 4,006;
- 19 numbers: 1 in 843;
- 20 numbers: 1 in 211.
Because this is a special draw, the prize doesn’t accumulate. If no one matches all 15 numbers, the prize will be distributed among those who match 14 numbers, following the subsequent brackets, ensuring the prize is paid in full.
This is because Lotofácil da Independência follows the same model as other special Caixa Lottery contests, such as Mega da Virada and Quina de São João, distributing the prizes completely among the winners of the different prize categories.
