Zitro reduces non-recyclable waste by 73% between 2022 and 2024

Zitro achieved a 73% reduction in non-recyclable waste in 2024, compared to 2022. This progress reflects the company’s commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles and its long-term environmental strategy.

Sustainability actions

The positive results were particularly evident at the Getafe Operations Center and the Barcelona Technology Campus. At these facilities, the company conducted detailed waste characterizations, established partnerships with specialized managers, and maintained quarterly monitoring of the volumes generated.

Additionally, Zitro promoted internal recycling campaigns and optimized collection points to facilitate waste separation at source. This means that all office areas now have more effective structures for proper disposal.

The measures implemented solidify the path towards the goal of reducing non-recyclable waste by 70% by 2032. The company reinforced that it will continue to work actively to achieve this environmental goal.
