Bets for the 14th edition of Lotofácil da Independência began this Sunday (27). The special contest number 3480 brings the biggest prize in the history of the game, estimated at R$220 million. The draw is scheduled for September 6.
Bets can be registered at lottery outlets throughout Brazil using the exclusive Lotofácil da Independência ticket. Official digital channels are also available: the Loterias portal and the Loterias Caixa app.
How does the Lotofácil da Independência contest work?
To enter, participants must choose 15 to 20 numbers from the 25 available on the ticket. Prizes will be awarded to bettors who match 11, 12, 13, 14, or 15 numbers. Players can also use the “Surpresinha” feature, which allows the system to automatically select numbers.
As with special contests promoted by Loterias CAIXA, the Lotofácil da Independência jackpot doesn’t accumulate. Therefore, if no one matches all 15 numbers, Caixa distributes the prize among those who match 14 numbers, following the rules of the game. A single bet costs R$3.50.
Caixa pool increases your chances of winning
For those looking to increase their chances of winning, Bolão Caixa is an alternative. Bettors can form a group, choose the numbers, choose the number of shares, and register the game at any lottery outlet. Each participant receives an individual receipt and, if they win a prize, can claim their share separately.
In Lotofácil, the minimum amount for group bets is R$14.00. Each share must be priced at or above R$4.50. It’s also possible to purchase shares in syndicates organized directly by lottery outlets.
In this option, the interested party must inform the attendant how many shares they want and keep the receipt to track the result. In these cases, the lottery outlet may apply a service fee of up to 35% of the share value.
Finally, the odds organized by lottery outlets are also available on the Loterias Caixa app and on the website www.loteriasonline.caixa.gov.br, with the same 35% fee. Therefore, bettors can pay by card or via PIX (Public Payment Methods) and enjoy the same security offered at physical points of sale.
