Caixa and Banco da Amazônia (BASA) signed last Tuesday (20), in Brasília (DF), a partnership agreement to share the bank’s lottery network.

The contract provides for deposits and withdrawals, increasing BASA’s customer service channels. In the Legal Amazon region alone, this expansion covers 696 municipalities with 1,300 lottery outlets.

Caixa’s president, Carlos Vieira, stated that the partnership is a relationship in which both companies emerge stronger through sharing service structures.

“This agreement allows CAIXA to fulfill its social and development role in the country, bringing convenience to Brazilians in the North,” he said.

While the president of BASA, Luiz Cláudio Lessa, celebrated the cooperation and highlighted the importance of Caixa’s capillarity to better serve the northern region.

“The union of forces of federal banks is a great step forward and facilitates the inclusion and banking of those who need it most,” he highlighted.

According to official information from Caixa, this agreement also provides that, subsequently, the withdrawal of benefits from the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) will be made available to BASA customers at lottery outlets.

Services offered in the agreement

Therefore, operations will be subject to daily limits: withdrawals of up to R$2,000 and deposits of up to R$1,000 per day, in checking and savings accounts.
