The Brazilian Company for Supporting Compulsive Gambling (EBAC) will be present at BiS Brasília. This is the largest gambling event ever held in the federal capital, taking place on October 21st and 22nd at the Royal Tulip Brasília Alvorada. The organization will participate in the panel discussion “Responsible Gambling and Social Impact.”
The “Responsible Gaming and Social Impact” panel will be held at 9:15 a.m. and will last 1 hour and 15 minutes on Wednesday. The objective is to bring together experts to discuss the role of public health in prevention and treatment policies related to compulsive gambling behavior.

After 2020, a period that coincided with the expansion of gambling, the discussion gained momentum, as did the demand for real or virtual support spaces.”
“We still have a long way to go in the challenge of providing this specialized support and including the topic of responsible gambling in public health promotion strategies. This debate in Brasília is a valuable opportunity to advance the development of partnerships and policies that combine prevention, support, and emotional education,” he adds.
