The Barcelona editions of ICE and iGB Affiliate reached a historic milestone, bringing together 59,101 unique participants from 163 countries. Furthermore, the total number of visits surpassed 100,000 for the first time, consolidating the event as one of the biggest in the gaming industry.
Attendance at ICE was 50,019 visitors, an 11% increase over the previous year. iGB Affiliate registered 9,082 participants, an increase of 24% compared to the previous record.
Total visitation, which measures the days spent at Fira Gran Via Barcelona, reached 107,664, another world record.
Countries with significant participation in ICE and iGB in Barcelona
Nine countries had a significant participation, with Spain leading (8,954), followed by the United Kingdom (6,518), Malta (3,074), Cyprus (2,328), Ukraine (1,938), United States (1,730), Italy (1,496), Bulgaria (1,252) and Germany (1,157).
Stuart Hunter, Executive Director of Clarion Gaming, highlighted: “The data has been verified by an independent registration body and reflects the number of unique participants.”
He added: “I am delighted that ICE and iGB Affiliate’s transition to Barcelona has been so well received. The opening day of ICE had 32,788 participants, and the closing day registered 24,926, 20% more than in 2024.”
Hunter also highlighted growth in several regions, including Continental Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia. He mentioned: “Overall participant growth has mitigated and exceeded the reduction in the UK, where companies have rationalized their representation.”
Therefore, for 2026, 86% of the event space is already reserved. Hunter said: “The response has been so positive that many exhibitors have already secured additional space. ICE will expand into Hall 1, and iGB Affiliate will move into Hall 8, offering a dedicated arrival experience.”
Naomi Barton, Portfolio Director at iGB Events, described the response to the event as “simply extraordinary”. She stated: “The growth of iGB Affiliate has been phenomenal. Barcelona highlighted the brand’s popularity and status. The unique attendance of 9,082 was a 24% increase from 2024.”
Barton also highlighted the diversity of the event: “108 nations were represented, making iGB Affiliate one of the most international b2b events on the calendar. All metrics are extremely healthy, and we are analyzing detailed exhibitor and visitor surveys.”
Attention now turns to July, with the relocation of iGB L!VE from Amsterdam to ExCeL London.
