The National Basketball League (LNB) formalizes a long-term agreement with Sportradar Group AG (NASDAQ: SRAD), a global sports technology company. The initiative seeks to expand the league’s international presence and strengthen innovation processes. Furthermore, the movement involves different strategic fronts aimed at developing basketball in the country.
In this context, Sportradar now holds global audiovisual rights for betting and gaming, in addition to data collection and distribution. The contract includes all competitions in the LNB ecosystem, such as the NBB Caixa, the Super 8 Cup, the Development League, the Gold League, the Interligas and the Development Interligas.
How the partnership impacts basketball competitions and integrity
LNB incorporates solutions from the Synergy portfolio, with emphasis on Synergy Stats and Synergy Coaching. These tools enable advanced data collection, performance analysis, and detailed adversarial study. Likewise, teams begin to use video and scouting resources based on artificial intelligence.
On the other hand, the league also implements the Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS AI). The technology works to protect more than 620 matches per season against match manipulation.
The partnership then includes educational workshops aimed at athletes, referees and managers, reinforcing integrity practices.

Sergio Floris, Executive Director of Sportradar Brasil, states: “We are very pleased to enter into this partnership with LNB and support the next phase of basketball growth in Brazil.
Sportradar already has a strong presence in the country through partnerships in football and volleyball, and we have been waiting for the opportunity to include Brazil’s main basketball league in our portfolio for a long time. Together, our goal is to move the league forward through innovation, data and integrity.”
Rodrigo Montoro, President of LNB, says: “We are very pleased with this partnership. Sportradar is a global reference in the segment of innovation, data and integrity, and this agreement will certainly enhance the development of Brazilian basketball from next season onwards.
It is a partnership that positions us strongly in the national and international market and will bring many gains to our sport over the next four years.”
Expansion of Sportradar in the main sports in Brazil
Sportradar already maintains integrity-related partnerships with the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) and a comprehensive agreement with the CBV (Brazilian Volleyball Confederation). In this way, the inclusion of LNB expands its operations in the three most popular sports in the country.
Consequently, this advance consolidates the company’s presence in the national sports scene. This is a natural evolution within a strategy aimed at developing and protecting competitions that are relevant to the public.
