Hermes Vieira, owner of the Eldorado lottery shop, located in the Celina Park sector, announced that the R$51 million prize won by a lottery group in Goiás (GO) is the largest ever recorded at the establishment. The winning lottery group, which participated in the 2865th Mega-Sena draw, was created by the lottery system itself and distributed among five shares, sold at random.
According to Hermes, “I was very moved because we work and our goal is to achieve things. It is to make history with the people. It is very significant.”
The owner reported that he found out the result on Tuesday night (20), right after the draw held by Caixa Econômica Federal.
He pointed out: “We work with demands, the client demands it from us all the time. Oh, I want to win a lottery, but there’s no prize, so we work towards the goal. (…) But it’s like that, right? That only God can bless us.”
Hermes also commented that the agency has already registered five other Mega-Sena prizes: “We are very pleased that these people have been rewarded. We are here with yet another prize,” he celebrated.
Other successful bets made at the lottery have already benefited customers. Among them, a Mega Sena bet had a prize of R$26 million, another Dupla Sena bet received almost R$4 million, and there was also a Loto Fácil prize, which totaled R$360 thousand, among other cases registered at the location.
Next Mega-Sena draw has an estimated prize of R$3.5 million
The Mega-Sena lottery recently held the draw for contest 2866, in which a bet from São Paulo matched all six numbers and won R$2,784,095.20. The numbers drawn on that occasion were: 01, 12, 17, 19, 36 and 60.
In addition, 55 bettors got five numbers right, each taking home R$27,479.38. 3,882 bets received R$556.18 for getting four numbers right. Given this scenario, Caixa Econômica Federal announced that the next draw will take place on Saturday (24), with an estimated prize of R$3.5 million.
Therefore, anyone who wants to participate can register their bet until 7 pm, at any lottery outlet in the country or on the official website. It is important to note that a single bet costs R$5.
