The CEO of the Brazilian Company for Compulsive Gambling Support (EBAC), Ricardo Magri, participated in the last major event on the international gaming calendar: SiGMA Central Europe. During the fair in Rome, he analyzed the company’s performance in its first year in the regulated market in Brazil.

“It (EBAC) starts precisely in the regulated market. It was very good, we managed to get contracts even above the initial expectation. The concern for this second year is to consolidate this position and make our product continue to be truly relevant and necessary for the market,” he stated.

Partnership with the Brazilian Lounge

According to Magri, the two initiatives joined forces, and the EBAC brand was only absent from the Brazilian Lounge due to a matter of time. “I’m involved. We were going to start here in Rome, but there wasn’t enough time to put the brand in place. We’ve already been to BiS SiGMA, the Latam Lounge, which has ample space for the company, and it was great,” he stated.

The executive emphasized that this cooperation should be strengthened, especially at the industry’s most recognized events, such as ICE Barcelona and BiS SiGMA in São Paulo.

“This is a very strong synergy. I am very grateful because I am an ambassador for responsible gaming. So, at every event where the subject is discussed, even as an executive at EBAC, I represent the theme at the fair. I take care of EBAC’s business, and also the responsible gaming theme as the Brazilian Lounge representative,” he said.
