Historically, unprecedented technical cycles tend to generate variations in team performance. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this context, the test sessions held in Barcelona and Bahrain provided the first indications of the grid&#8217;s performance for 2026.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who are the favorites for the World Drivers&#8217; Championship<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the drivers, <strong>George Russell, from Mercedes<\/strong>, appears as the main candidate for the world title. The <strong>Brit has a 25% chance of winning <\/strong>the championship, with an odds of 2.9. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Max Verstappen, Red Bull driver<\/strong> and <strong>four-time champion of the category<\/strong>, is right behind with<strong> 18% probability and an odd of 4.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Charles Leclerc, from Ferrari, appears next in the projections with a 12% chance <\/strong>of winning the title.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lewis Hamilton, Leclerc&#8217;s teammate<\/strong>, has a <strong>10% chance of winning the championship<\/strong>. <strong>Kimi Antonelli, who shares Mercedes with Russell, appears with 8%.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Current world champion, <strong>Lando Norris, has a 7%<\/strong> chance of repeating the title.
