The municipality informed that the platform does not have authorization to operate lottery modalities or <a href=\"https:\/\/igamingbrazil.com\/en\/legislation-en\/2025\/08\/29\/ordinance-defines-new-revenue-codes-for-fixed-odds-betting\/\">fixed-odd betting <\/a>in the State of Paran\u00e1. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, the website misuses Lottopar&#8217;s name and institutional identity to appear legal. The authority clarifies that the operation does not maintain any contractual, regulatory or institutional link with the state body.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What measures did Lottopar take against the irregular website<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lottopar initiated measures to interrupt the offer considered irregular. In this sense, the municipality formally informed the Prizes and Betting Secretariat (SPA) of the Ministry of Treasury about the case. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agency then <strong>requested the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) to block the domain nationwide<\/strong>. The measure seeks to prevent access by users across the country, as the platform does not have a federal or state license. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, Lottopar maintains continuous supervision. The body uses intelligence mechanisms and applies regulatory rigor to combat the parallel market. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Criteria for identifying authorized operators in Paran\u00e1<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To <strong>reinforce consumer protection, Lottopar advises that bettors check the platforms&#8217; credentials before any registration or transaction<\/strong>. In this way, the body establishes objective criteria to identify regular operators. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Firstly, territoriality defines that <strong>sites authorized by Lottopar operate exclusively within the limits of the State of Paran\u00e1<\/strong>. It is also mandatory to display the official authorization seal in a visible location on accredited platforms.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, federal regulations determine the mandatory use of the<strong> .bet.br<\/strong> extension for authorized operators. Finally, citizens can consult the updated list of qualified companies at the authority&#8217;s official address, through the link: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lottopar.pr.gov.br\/Pagina\/Operadores-Autorizados-Geral\">Authorized Operators &#8211; Lottopar.<\/a><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lottopar emphasizes that only the regulated market ensures consumer rights, prevention of money laundering and Responsible Gaming policies. Clandestine operations do not provide self-exclusion mechanisms, deposit limits or payment guarantees.
