Based in the Aland Islands, the gaming company Paf has declared that it will decrease the limit of loss of players per year by around 5,000 euros. Therefore, the limit should drop to 20 thousand euros. The measure is being taken for the third year in a row.<\/p>\n\n
Paf’s management is following the customer service policy, highlighting the intention to be at the forefront of the online games industry aiming at standards with social responsibility.<\/p>\n\n
In 2018, CEO Christer Fahlstedt and CRO Daniela Johansson set the first loss limit for players at around 30,000 euros per year.<\/p>\n\n
The roof was put in place by a company-wide remodeling, which divided the leadership decisions between the CEO and the new position of Chief Responsibility Officer (CRO).<\/p>\n\n
By lowering individual loss limits per year, Paf believes that the directive will record a drop in its revenues of between two and three million euros.<\/p>\n\n
Despite this, the company stated that the operating process will continue with an effective profit, as it did last year. In 2019, the company had a 4% profit growth, reaching \u20ac 26 million.<\/p>\n\n
\u201cWe are proud that we have been able to reduce our loss limit by up to a third in just two years. We see that our limit effectively prevents players who spend a lot and avoids the personal tragedies that can occur when large amounts are lost, \u201dsaid Christer Fahlstedt.<\/p>\n\n
He continued: “Paf has further reduced the loss limit to show that it is possible to survive as a gaming company without the income of the biggest players”.<\/p>\n\n
In April, Paf announced that it chose to save around 40 million euros in dividends, in order to pass them on to social projects to “alleviate the negative effects of the coronavirus”.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
