Textor mentioned two goals scored by the team led by Abel Ferreira in 2022 and 2023:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Beaten <a href=\"https:\/\/igamingbrazil.com\/en\/sports-betting-en\/2023\/10\/27\/on-sports-betting-websites-fortaleza-is-listed-as-a-favorite-in-the-south-american-final\/\">Fortaleza<\/a>, 4-0, in 2022<\/strong>. At the time, Alviverde entered the field already Brazilian champions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Beaten S\u00e3o Paulo, 5-0, in 2023<\/strong>. Tricolor Paulista entered the field after winning the Copa do Brasil, while Verd\u00e3o sought to defeat then-leader Botafogo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSeven players (from S\u00e3o Paulo) showed abnormal deviations in crucial goal situations, but only five exceeded limits that make the manipulation clear and convincing. It must be made clear that the evidence does not establish motives, and also does not suggest that any club was responsible for the manipulation other than the identified players\u201d, says Textor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The match-fix level II report, which proves, after completion of the match-fix level III, manipulation of the match in Palmeiras x S\u00e3o Paulo was sent to the <a href=\"https:\/\/igamingbrazil.com\/en\/legislation-en\/2024\/02\/02\/stjd-decides-not-to-convert-sentences-of-players-involved-in-match-fixing\/\">STJD <\/a>at the end of 2023, but the STJD had a clear decision not to investigate further bottom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Names of the accused are, and should always be, omitted and not shown to the sports court. I have no intention of harming the accused before they can protect themselves\u201d, adds the Botafogo owner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Clubs refute statements by John Textor, from Botafogo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>John Textor&#8217;s speeches resulted in immediate demonstrations from the aforementioned clubs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement, <strong>S\u00e3o Paulo<\/strong> highlighted the &#8216;honesty of the institution in its 94 years of history&#8217;, as well as repudiating the \u201cserious and unfounded accusations of participation of athletes from the tricolor squad in result manipulation made by the owner of SAF Botafogo.
