The project is by Representative <a href=\"https:\/\/www.camara.leg.br\/deputados\/204372\">Julio Cesar Ribeiro (Republicans\/DF)<\/a> and aims to add a paragraph to article 177 of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.planalto.gov.br\/ccivil_03\/_ato2023-2026\/2023\/Lei\/L14597.htm\">General Sports Law<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>suggested description<\/strong> is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe federal public administration must follow the monitoring, together with the sports organizations described in the previous paragraph, and in case of suspicion of manipulation or attempted interference in the results of sports competitions, which may suggest the suspension of the championship, removal of athletes, application of fines and other effective measures in the case&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his justification, the deputy claimed that \u201cwe note that the public administration must act more firmly in monitoring and monitoring possible interference in the results of competitions. Thus, players were punished with fines, suspensions and bans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recently, FIFA began extending these penalties.
