Lottopar welcomes representatives from two state lotteries

In recent weeks, Lottopar (the Paraná State Lottery) has received visits from representatives of two other state lotteries: the Maranhão Lottery (LOTEMA) and the Espírito Santo Public Services Regulatory Agency (ARSP/ES). On both occasions, the objective was to learn about the operation and structure of Lottopar, in order to develop the service in other states.

On Wednesday (11), the Paraná State Lottery (Lottopar) received a visit from representatives of the Espírito Santo Public Services Regulatory Agency (ARSP/ES). Present were Tatiana Santos de Oliveira (Sector Director), Danielle Zanoli Gonçalves Jordão Ramos (Manager), Paulo Roberto de Lima Filho (Manager), and Pedro Torraca Daemon (Advisor). The objective is to have another round of exchanging technical information and good regulatory practices between the states.

On the occasion, Lottopar presented its structure and operations, focusing on the modeling of public concessions for the operation of lottery games and the monitoring mechanisms implemented. Therefore, the visit aimed to contribute to the development and structuring of the Espírito Santo State Services Regulatory Agency (ARSP/ES), through technical exchange and good practices.

During the visit, the authority showed its inspection structure, with the physical and documentary inspection procedures adopted, as well as the existing monitoring system, in addition to explaining the practices adopted in the State regarding responsible gaming.

Lottopar CEO Daniel Romanowski commented on the visit. “This exchange of experiences reinforces Lottopar’s commitment to transparency, the continuous improvement of its regulatory activities and institutional cooperation between federative entities, contributing to the strengthening of the lottery sector in Brazil.”

LOTEMA (Maranhão Lottery) visits Lottopar

Last week, it was Lottopar’s turn to receive an institutional visit from representatives of the Maranhão Lottery (LOTEMA). In an agenda focused on the exchange of technical information and good regulatory practices between the states.

The program included a detailed presentation of the regulatory model of Paraná, highlighting its robust governance structure, bettor security and commitment to responsible gaming.

One of the main highlights presented was the self-exclusion system, available on the official Lottopar website. The tool, unprecedented in Latin America, allows anyone to request their exclusion from authorized gaming environments. In this way, they are effectively removed from all platforms and dealerships within 24 hours.

The visit reflects Lottopar’s commitment to fostering a collaborative ecosystem between state lotteries, thus promoting technical evolution and regulatory convergence in favor of citizen protection.

According to Daniel Romanowski, welcoming other institutions is very important. “Receiving LOTEMA at our headquarters is more than an institutional honor; it is the certainty that we are building, together, a responsible, ethical and safe public lottery model. The exchange of experiences between states strengthens the system as a whole and offers Brazilian bettors the guarantee of being part of a regulated and protected environment.”

With actions like this, Lottopar consolidates the understanding that state lotteries are not only an alternative for public revenue, but also a strategic instrument for preventing compulsive gambling and combating fraud.
