This Tuesday (23), an exclusive virtual workshop will be held by the Association of Women in the Gaming Industry (AMIG). The event, focused on responsible practices in the online gaming and betting industry, is scheduled for 2 pm (Brasília time).
The meeting will offer a comprehensive and updated view on the topic, providing members with a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the current regulatory scenario.
Industry experts will lead the workshop, offering up-to-date insights into the challenges and best practices in responsible gaming. Participants are expected to better understand the legal and ethical nuances that permeate the segment, in addition to exploring strategies to promote responsible practices.
AMIG highlights the work carried out by the Prizes and Betting Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance, recognizing the commitment to the quality and efficiency of the sector’s regulation. With this, the workshop aims to contribute significantly to the advancement of the gaming industry in Brazil.
AMIG – Association of Women in the Gaming Industry
AMIG is a pioneering non-profit entity in Brazil, which seeks to promote the inclusion and professionalization of women in the online gaming and betting industry. The association aims to create a more equitable environment where female talent can thrive, connect and lead.

Meet the experts at the AMIG Workshop
The event will be attended by professionals from the sector who will share their expertise and knowledge on the topic:
- Irati Aparecida Santos (speaker): Lawyer, Compliance Officer and DPO – legal, data privacy professional, Lead Implementer of Information Privacy Management by ABNT and specialist in Digital Law and Compliance. Postgraduate specializing in: Civil Procedural Law, Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure, Consumer Law, Tax, Registration and Notarial Law, business and training in Digital and Compliance, International Relations with an Emphasis on International Law, LGPD-Law 13.709-2018, Project Management and ESG. Member of ANPPD.
- Valter Delfraro Júnior (speaker): Government Relations and Business Development Executive, supporter of gaming certification and regulation globally. It contributes to the analysis of the expansion of gaming verticals and their corresponding regulation by government entities to ensure the transparency, integrity and equity of the industry for the benefit of Brazilian citizens. Graduated in Data Processing, he led software approvals in several countries. He is a former member of IT committees at Fenaseg, Sindseg and Conglomerado Alfa.
- Bárbara Teles (speaker): Lawyer specializing in government relations, Regulatory and Public Affairs at Rei do Pitaco and Director of Government Relations at the Brazilian Fantasy Sports Association (ABFS). She is General Secretary of the Gaming Law Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association – Seccional DF (OAB/DF) and co-founder of the Association of Women in the Gaming Industry (AMIG).
- Pedro Extremera (speaker): Regional Director for Latin America and Iberia at Playtech, graduated from London Business School.
- Leticia Soerio (moderator): Federal Finance and Control Auditor since July 2006. Since 2014, she has dedicated herself to the area of lottery regulation, where she contributes to the drafting of normative acts, analysis of bills, systems development and supervision of lotteries. She currently works as Responsible Gaming Monitoring Coordinator at the Prizes and Betting Secretariat.
Workshop content
The “Responsible Gaming” workshop will bring together the aforementioned experts, offering a comprehensive and up-to-date view on the topic. The event will have four main panels:

- Challenges and Solutions for Implementing Responsible Gaming Measures – Irati Santos
- Importance of Awareness and Education about Responsible Gaming – Bárbara Teles
