In addition to being sponsors of the main national competition, the Brasileirão, we also defend clubs and various fans across the country, promoting essential values for promoting sport with responsibility and integrity.”

Among the clubs present in the national football elite, only Cuiabá does not have funds from the segment. However, the club from the Brazilian Center-West has already demonstrated its desire to enter into commercial agreements with companies in the sector.

Marcos Araujo, CEO of PlayGreen, a sports betting company that also offers an online casino service, explains the development of the sector in Brazil. “The betting sector has shown a lot of prosperity in the country. This happens because there is a meeting of two themes that excite the Brazilian people – sport and betting”.

“With the impressive numbers presented, this segment follows the trend of consolidation in the market”, added Araujo.

Regulation of sports betting advances in Brazil

The sports betting regulation has advanced in Brazil. On Wednesday (13), the Chamber of Deputies approved Bill 3626/23 which deals with the topic.

Now, the text reaches the Federal Senate for analysis. Valid for up to three years, the grant granted by the Ministry of Finance will have a maximum payment of R$30 million to bookmakers.

Fábio Wolff, founding partner of Wolff Sports and specialist in sports marketing, analyzes the evolution of commercial agreements between national football teams and sports betting companies. “The betting segment is the one that invests the most in the most popular sport in the country. Thus, income is generated which, if well controlled by the clubs, will bring countless benefits to everyone involved.”

With extensive evolution after Law 13,756 of December 2018, sports betting companies have offered various attractions on platforms to attract more and more customers.

Among the options presented by the companies are: quick withdrawal, multiple, single, double chance, bets from R$1, number of goals, athletes’ actions, corners and which team should open the scoring.
