MGM Resorts International has announced the launch of its BetMGM iGaming and online sports betting brand in the UK, kicking off MGM Resorts’ strategy to expand the brand into international markets.
The brand’s new international offering leverages technology and platform from LeoVegas, the Swedish gaming company acquired by MGM Resorts last year.
“BetMGM is a proven brand in the sports betting and iGaming space, and we look forward to welcoming international players to our platforms designed specifically for them,” said MGM Resorts CEO and President Bill Hornbuckle.
“The announcement represents an important step in our international growth strategy, which has been advancing rapidly since the acquisition of LeoVegas”, he added.
BetMGM UK‘s online offer offers customers new and exciting product features such as frequent and large-scale jackpots, loyalty rewards, exclusive and attractive sports promotions and exclusive slots.
The new sports and casino experience leverages the BetMGM brand and best-in-class traditional entertainment from the MGM Resorts Las Vegas category to deliver an engaging and secure online experience in the UK.
The product is now available for desktop and mobile web with further functional development, including mobile apps, planned ahead of a mid-September national media release.
