Betano acquires the naming rights of Série B of the Brazilian Championship

After announcing the acquisition of the naming rights for the Supercopa do Brasil and Copa do Brasil 2023, Betano closed a new agreement and guaranteed the right to name another competition on the national scene: Série B of the Brazilian Championship. With the contract signed, the second division becomes known as Série B Betano 2023.

The agreement between the sports betting company and the competition establishes LED panels, central and inflatable pre-match carpet, as well as carpets on the lawn during games, brand exposure on the benches, custom replacement plaque and inserts in the backdrop of field interviews.

Betano’s brand will also appear in the entry protocol for the teams on the pitches and in the tournament’s awards. Series B started last Friday, April 14, with the clash between Guarani and Avaí, at the Princess’ Golden Earring, in Campinas. Bugre thrashed the team from Santa Catarina by 4 to 1, starting the competition in the best possible way.

According to the regulation announced by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), 20 teams will face each other in turn and return over 38 rounds. The four best placed earn the right to compete in Série A next year, while the last four fall to Série C.

“Conquering space not only as an official sponsor of the 2023 Brazilian Championship, but also the naming rights and official sponsorship of Série B reflects how much football, as a national passion, also represents one of the main pillars of Betano in the promotion of the sports industry”, said Alexandre Fonseca, Betano’s country manager in Brazil.

“We are very happy with the news, which bring us even closer to the public and reflect all the strength and confidence we have in the sports betting market”, added Fonseca.
