Betano's master sponsorship of Fluminense women's football is made official on International Women's Day

The Fluminense women’s soccer team announced a new partner. This is Betano’s master sponsorship, which was formalized this Wednesday, March 8 – International Women’s Day. The bookmaker already occupied the same property in the men’s team uniform.

According to the club’s website, the contract will run until December 2025 and covers the adult and youth teams. The new agreement represents an extension of the connection between the Rio de Janeiro club and Betano, which began in 2021.

Since then, the partnership has been strengthened and extended, with the renewal of the bond until the end of 2025 in an agreement with new fronts, such as spaces on advertising boards, investments in FluTV (such as the naming rights of Boteco Tricolor) and various activations for crowd engagement.

“Investing in an increasingly strong and competitive Women’s Football is one of our priorities, it is part of our values. We work hard for the progress of the modality. Therefore, this new stage of the partnership is very welcome and demonstrates how Betano is engaged in the Fluminense project, believing in the reconstruction of the club as a whole”, said president Mário Bittencourt.

The partnership between Fluminense and Betano has stood out for its good sports results and several activations of the brand, always providing unique experiences for the tricolor, such as the “Betano Day” in Laranjeiras, meetings of fans to watch the games in bars or at the stadium and even trips to follow the team’s games.

“It is an honor for Betano, on International Women’s Day, to formalize its sponsorship of the Fluminense women’s football team, a club with which we have had a long-standing partnership,” said Alexandre Fonseca, Betano’s country manager in Brazil.

“One of our main objectives is to promote the sports market and we know that, in this segment, female sports and professionals must, more and more, reaffirm their space of equality and importance in sport. We are very happy and proud with this new action, which adds to many others that we have already carried out and have been generating value, as well as positive experiences for athletes, the general public and customers”, he continued.

The appreciation of Fluminense women’s football in recent years has yielded good results, such as the first title of the modality: the Brasileirão Sub-18 of 2020. Last year, the Girls of Xerém were crowned champions of the Campeonato Carioca Sub-17, in final against Flamengo.

The team, which used to train outside the Vale das Laranjeiras Training Center, today uses the facilities at the base, in Xerém, with all available resources, including the recovery center. As a result, Fluminense had numerous athletes summoned to the youth teams in Brazil.
