An engaging series of masterclasses and presentations will take place at the inaugural SPORTEL Rendez-vous Bali, held February 23-24, 2023. Sessions will delve into the trends shaping the future of the sports media and technology industry by provoking discussions led by influential sports business executives.
The international mix of culture and experience includes speakers from Indonesia, Asia, Europe, North America and beyond. Attendees will gain vital insights to complement their meetings during the two-day event to assess and help make decisions to develop their business strategies that unlock potential new revenue streams.
A panel focusing on the situation in Asia (Asia the Big Picture), in collaboration with Kevin McCullagh of SportBusiness, will feature leaders from the Asian sports media industry including Sutanto Hartono of EMTEK, Mitch Hong of SPOTV, Andrew Rogers of AFC, and IMG‘s Tom Broom, who will share their insights into the state of the industry today, how it got here, and where it’s headed in 2023 and beyond.

Another star-studded panel highlighting “Asian Audiences Embracing International Football Properties” will highlight how European and global properties have established their brands in the region, expanding digital footprints and working side-by-side with broadcasters to enhance fan experiences, while adapting broadcast schedules. live sports programming. The panel “The Future of Esports in Asia” will be hosted by Callum McCarthy of SportBusiness and includes some of the most game-changing organizations in Asia such as Roland Lam of ESL Faceit, Martinus Manurung of Moonton and Ren Kai Yip, from Reddentes Sports & Redd+E.
