Almost 4 years ago Andrea Rossi took over as Commercial Director for Betsson Group Latam and Spain, leading operations from his office based in Bogotá.
On the last 22nd of November, Betsson inaugurated its operations center in Colombia. From this opening, the sports betting and online casino operator continues with its purpose of achieving a geographically diversified growth where the Latin American markets have become one of the main income channels.
In an exclusive interview, he told us about the increase in the number of women in sports betting, comparing the UK and Latam countries. He spoke about the types of bets most sought after by bettors and compared the situation in Latin America and Brazil in general with that of 5 years ago (organization, structuring, technology, etc).
He also spoke about the sponsorship activation strategies for 2023, and the intentions to use more influencers in the near future.
And, of course, he took stock of the company’s growth in 2022, giving his opinion on the World Cup and possible results.
