Betsson Group launched its online gambling and betting offering in Mexico, expanding the operator’s presence in Latin America. The company launched its services on ‘betsson.mx’ for the entire regulated market in the country.

Betsson is offering online casino, live casino and sports betting located under its main brand. The operator noted that sports betting is especially popular in Mexico. “We are delighted to launch this launch in Mexico, the second largest gaming market in Latin America,” said Andrea Rossi, Commercial Director Latin America at Betsson Group.

“We will be using our experience in the online gaming industry and with that we are certain that we will achieve our vision of offering engaging products as well as providing the best customer experience in the industry, now also for our Mexican customers,” added Rossi.

The operator was launched in the country earlier this month on a trial basis, and will now be ramping up its commercial activities in Mexico in time for the bigger tournaments to be held later this year.

The Mexican market operations will be led by the group’s Latin American center, established in 2021 in Colombia.

Jesper Svensson, CEO of Betsson Operations, commented: “We continue to deliver on our geographically diverse growth strategy and see great potential ahead in Latin American markets in general and Mexico in particular given the size of its economy and population.”

“I am particularly excited about the upcoming World Cup, which will take place during the fourth quarter, which is already seasonally very busy. Furthermore, I am confident that Mexican customers will enjoy Betsson’s market-leading product offering,” concluded Svensson.
