Française des Jeux (FDJ) has signed a three-year partnership agreement with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), the French football club. The FDJ sports betting brands, Parions Sport ‘En Ligne’ and Parions Sport ‘Point de Vente’, will become “Premium Partners” of the Ligue 1 (French Championship) team until 2025.
Richard Courtois, CEO of FDJ’s Sports Betting Unit, said: “We are delighted to have this first partnership with Paris Saint-Germain. We are proud to be joining such a popular and successful club.”
“This long-term partnership strengthens our position as one of the main stakeholders in sports betting in France and will allow us to share exclusive experiences with the club’s fans. We will activate this partnership with responsibility and enthusiasm in order to reach the entire community of PSG and the bets”.
Parions Sport will provide betting from inside PSG’s stadium
In their capacity as Premium Partners of the Parisian club, Parions Sport ‘En Ligne’ will publish exclusive content on social media, including contests to distribute match tickets, while Parions Sport ‘Point de Vente’ will use its reach to promote the partnership.
Parions Sport ‘Point de Vente’ will also offer betting on selected matches in and around PSG’s Parc des Princes stadium.
The company’s brand will be visible on the club’s home and digital channels from the start of the new edition of the French Championship, which already has great expectations regarding new sports betting opportunities.
“We are delighted to welcome the Française des Jeux to the Paris Saint-Germain family. FDJ is one of the main players in the sports betting industry,” said Marc Armstrong, Director of Partnerships at PSG.
He added: “Together, we will treat our fans to increasingly innovative experiences while ensuring that we promote ethical and responsible sports betting.”
