Betwinner, based in Cyprus, which operates in the global market and already has several licenses in Africa and with emerging projects in various regions, such as Asia, India, Latin America and Brazil, was in the months of June and beginning of July on the roads of Brazil with the Betwinner brand and its ambassador Roberto Carlos in buses. While Betwinner Afiliates, Betwinner’s affiliate brand, has crossed ten countries as a master sponsor of the sixth edition of OneLifeRally.
Regarding the marketing action in Brazil, Betwinner repeated a winning campaign carried out in the past with the collaboration of the Samba Digital agency. The focus of the 2021 campaign was São Paulo. This time, the company visited the capital of São Paulo, but also went to Rio de Janeiro and the capital of Brazil, Brasília.
In São Paulo, the enveloped buses passed through the most emblematic stadiums and two arenas with a strong connection to the brand ambassador, former player Roberto Carlos. This is because the vehicles passed through the Palmeiras and Corinthians stadiums, clubs in which Roberto Carlos played and became an idol.
In Rio de Janeiro, the Betwinner bus passed tourist attractions such as Copacabana and the boardwalk. In the Federal District, the company’s bus stopped in front of the Central Plateau, where the biggest political decisions in Brazil take place.
In Europe, the OnLifeRally, a rally for supercar lovers, had another edition disputed. This year, the competition toured ten countries (Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Austria, Italy, Bosnia, Montenegro and Croatia), allowing participants to enjoy fantastic and highly relevant scenarios mainly in the Balkan countries, such as the High Tatras and Portonovi.
João Vaz, Public Relations Director at Betwinner, evaluated these campaigns: “they were two different campaigns by the company, in an attempt to show the Brazilian public that we are the company that has Brazil as its main focus with the image of a world champion like Roberto Carlos”.
